I work with 5 different Hahnemüle papers depending on the type of photo. They all have a different property, compound and appearance.

HAHNEMÜHLE PHOTO RAG

Hahnemühle Photo Rag® is one of the world’s most popular papers and the valued all-rounder for high-quality FineArt inkjet printing. The white cotton artist’s paper, with its characteristic, wonderfully soft feel, boasts a lightly defined felt structure, lending each artwork a three-dimensional appearance and impressive pictorial depth. Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Pearl is a pure cotton paper with an inkjet coating that has been optimised for FineArt applications. The natural white artists’ paper contains no optical brighteners and is characterised by its warm shade of white. The delicately defined, even surface texture gives the paper a lovely soft feel and the print a stunning sense of depth. HAHNEMÜHLE FINE ART PEARL

Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl is a cellulose-based FineArt inkjet paper with an inkjet coating specially tailored for FineArt use. The bright white paper has a delicately textured surface and a smooth, silky feel. In combination with the premium inkjet coating, it produces an elegant finish with a subtle, pearl-gloss effect. Once printed, the paper impresses with outstanding reproduction of colour and detail, deep blacks and striking contrasts. The acid- and lignin-free FineArt Pearl meets the most exacting requirements for age resistance and is ideal for printing high-quality black and white as well as colour photographs.

Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta is a bright white, cellulose-based FineArt inkjet paper with an inkjet coating specially tailored for FineArt use. The clearly visible, exquisite felt structure lends the paper its lovely soft feel and tactile surface texture to produce prints with a stunning three-dimensional quality and depth. HAHNEMÜHLE GERMAN ETCHING

Hahnemühle German Etching is a traditional mould-made copperplate printing paper, complete with an inkjet coating designed especially for FineArt applications. The white art paper made from 100% alpha cellulose is characterised by its extraordinary velvety tactile feel and its fine, clearly defined felt structure. The unique surface texture adds a very special touch to images, showcasing them in all their splendour with impressive three-dimensional effect and depth. The premium matt inkjet coating guarantees outstanding print results with excellent reproduction of colour and detail, deep black and optimum contrasts. German Etching is acid- and lignin-free and meets the most exacting requirements in terms of age resistance. HAHNEMUHLE CERTIFICATE

The Hahnemühle Certificate of Authenticity features a numbered hologram, with a description of the work, artist, edition number, date and the type of paper that is used. We place an identically numbered hologram on the back of the artwork. This combination has a unique certificate that the Certificate of Authenticity relates directly to this specific work of art.
